The production VFR800X Crossrunner arrived in 2011, first deliveries coming that summer. It is a crossover built on the VTEC V4 from the VFR800, retuned for midrange, with a taller seat, wide bars and compact bodywork, positioned between a naked roadster and an adventure tourer. Combined ABS braking was fitted.
